Leader of the Heat Transfer & Alternative Energy Systems Group (NIST)
Bill Healy leads the Heat Transfer and Alternative Energy Systems Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology. He has conducted research on test methods for rating the efficiency of water heating systems and is currently part of a team exploring measurement challenges for premise plumbing. He is a past-chair of ASHRAE Technical Committee 6.6, Service Water Heating Systems, and currently serves on ASHRAE’s Residential Building Committee.
