Regan Murray
Regan Murray is the Director of the Water Infrastructure Division within the US Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Research and Development, Center for Environmental Solutions and Emergency Response. She oversees an interdisciplinary research team of more than 75 engineers, biologists, chemists, and physical scientists who are building the scientific foundation for EPA related to drinking water, premise plumbing, wastewater, stormwater, and water reuse systems. As a researcher for 15 years, she has developed models and software tools to improve the resilience and security of water systems. She has a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Arizona and a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Environmental Science from Kalamazoo College.
